Good Day, Kevin O'Neill here again, and my apologies for not getting to this task earlier.
I have started photographing my dad's diary, and have placed about a third of it up on the web. I plan on finishing within about 2 weeks. The diary can be viewed at http://www.oneillselectronicmuseum.com/ The link to the diary is toward the bottom and on the right of the main page. I have currently placed about 20 pages up. There are about 40 remaining. Mr. Schaeffer, I have been aware of your loss since I was a child. Not by name, but as my father's 2nd lost roommate during that tour. A brief description of your fathers death is recorded on page 128. I have no words to express the type of condolences i wish to convey. Mr Thomas, I will keep an eye out for that BN and place a post on this forum regarding any specifics. I do not know how soon i will be documenting the flight logs, but i will search that era of his log books (he ended up with 4) first. I will monitor this forum more closely in the future and am happy to help any way i can. Best Regards to all Kevin |
